Steve Calkins

President, Business Solutions Division


Steve Calkins was named President, Business Solutions Division for Office Depot, Inc. in May 2017. In this role, Calkins is responsible for leading the company’s B2B efforts, including the contract sales organization and the Canadian operations.

Most recently, Calkins served as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for the company. Prior to that appointment, he held various executive leadership roles in operations since 2011, including Executive Vice President, Contract Sales. In addition to overseeing Office Depot’s contract sales business and the Canadian operations in that role, he was also responsible for Copy & Print Services and Customer Service across North American selling channels. 

Calkins joined Office Depot in the Legal department in 2003, serving in various capacities including Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, after having served several years in private practice.

Calkins is a graduate of Michigan State University and the University of South Carolina School of Law.
